DeRiemacker 1/64th scale Custom Built Pullers
I have been collecting 1/64th scale farm toys for 27 years and have
been building Custom & Scratch Built Pullers since 1996. My love of
truck and tractor pulling sparked my interest to begin building pullers for
my personal collection.
When I first began building pullers, I was only building pulling tractors. At
that time, I was using the original Ertl tractors, while adding the roll
cages, wheelie bars, fuel tanks, suitcase weights and pulling tires. Since
then, I now build every tractor frame out of brass, while still using the
Ertl tractor body. The roll cages, wheelie bars, fuel tanks and suitcase
weights are purchased from Moore's Farm Toys. Rear tires and wheels
are purchased from Standi Toys. I build the exhaust pipes out of
aluminum tubing and rear hitches are made from the eye-lit of a fishing
hook.
I have also expanded into building 4x4 trucks, 2 wheel drive trucks and
Semi's. The 4x4 trucks begin as the factory body with the frames being
built out of brass. The engines used are from Racing Champions top fuel
drag cars.
